🌕 The Moon Is Full Collection 🌕
An offering for this Thursday’s lunar eclipse and full Sturgeon Moon.
I’ve been in all the feels today. Eclipse season has a way of pulling everything to the surface, and honestly, it feels like the whole world is holding so much right now. Grief, exhaustion, rage, tenderness, all at once. So I drew what I’ve been praying for.
Poppy for peace. It’s the flower that comes back first in ground torn up by war, which is how it became the symbol of remembrance. In Palestine, the red poppies that return to the hills every spring have long stood for memory, for the land, and for those who never left it. A flower that keeps coming back is its own kind of resistance. Free Palestine.
Gumamela for joy. Every Filipino kid knows this flower. We crushed the petals to make bubbles, our lolas used it as poultice for wounds. It grows wild and loud in the heat and asks for nothing. That’s the kind of joy I want, the kind that’s ordinary, native to us, and impossible to colonize.
Rose for love. The word rosary comes from rose garden, and I think about that a lot. Love as devotion. Love as something you return to over and over, thorns and all.
Peace, joy, love. That’s the intention I’m setting under this moon, for me and for all of us.

Introducing The Hablon Collection… my 2026 flash set inspired by my recent time in Iloilo.
Hablon means “to weave” in Hiligaynon, and this textile tradition has been carried by Ilonggo hands for generations, way before Spanish colonization. Getting to sit with the weavers in their communities and witness their craft up close was such a gift. There’s something so powerful about watching a tradition passed down through mothers and grandmothers still going strong today.
I wanted to create something that honours what these weavers are keeping alive, and lets these patterns live on skin the way they’ve lived on cloth. If you’re diaspora and finding your way back home through the work of our ancestors, this one is for you.
Salamat po to every weaver who welcomed me in. I carry you with me.
Each design is one of one, so once it’s claimed, it’s gone! Vancouver books are open at http://www.inkedbylele.com. Please no booking requests in the DMs.
